Death of a Lover

Under the half dying darkness of night,
crying  through the snare of his living soul
I saw a lover;
whorl by whorl,
dissolving in the wakefulness of non-existence

Lamenting for the delight of your unveiled vision,
the giant hope of his thirsting eyes,
Drip by drip,
guzzling light from the fountain of Sun

Flying the pleasure of  your visible absence,
the voyage of his broken limbs,
Wind by wind,
slashing beyond the covers of sky

Under the half dying darkness of night,
turning his feet into  beating wings,
I saw a lover,
Slice by slice,
Sinking in the breathing death to fly beyond limits
